The quarter finals of the II ATP Challenger Costa Cálida Region of Murcia have been decided. After the second round matches, there are eight players who will fight for the title from this Friday.

The top seed is Carballés, who has not disappointed and has left Pablo Llamas and Rybakov on the way to meet Frenchman Evan Furness, who in turn eliminated Trugelliti and Javier Barranco.

Collarini, after eliminating the big surprise, Emilio Nava, and the Belgian De Loore, will face Bourgue, who comes from beating the Spanish Roberto Ortega-Olmedo and Jesper De Jong.

The other Spaniard in the quarter-finals is Nicola Kuhn, who will play Flavio Cobolli. Kuhn, who eliminated Horansky and Skatov, is in contention for a place in the semi-finals, where, if through, he will face either Zekic or Griekspoor. The Serb got past Rosenkranz and Ramanathan, while the Dutchman saw off Ritschard and Nicolas Sanchez.

Doubles

In the doubles draw, the final has already been decided and will be played this Friday afternoon at the Real Murcia Club de Tenis 1919. The Spanish pair formed by Barroso and Carballés are in the running for the title, but first they will have to beat the Italians Brancaccio and Cobolli.
